Introduction

Our equine services are designed to meet the needs of our clients.

We focus on Prevention and Wellness. AVS also offers equine medical, reproductive, surgical and orthopedics services.

Equine Seminars: The Athens Veterinary Service in union with its distributors are proud to present to you an educational experience through our equine seminars that are held each spring.  These educational presentations give you the tools to becoming a more knowledgeable owner through our professional veterinarians and speakers on discussions such as colic, immunizations, disease, ulcers and many more informational topics.  The seminars are conveniently held on two nights and at two different locations with a complimentary meal and door prizes.  Watch for these seminars in the upcoming calendar of events.

Coggins Clinic: Athens Vet Service is happy to provide the north woods region of Price County with a coggins clinic which is organized through their 4-H program.  The coggins clinic also gives equine owners a chance to get their horses vaccinated and dewormed.  The clinics are held in the spring on two different weekends.  Watch for these clinics in the upcoming calendar of events.
