Melissa Sullivan , D.V.M.
Dr. Sullivan has special interests in small animal internal medicine, geriatric care, and behavior. Cherokee, her German Shepherd mix and Tennyson, her precocious Border Collie, accompany her to work and occasionally help educate clients on various topics from behavior issues to eye enucleation (Cherokee had his left eye removed for medical reasons as a puppy). In her free time, Melissa enjoys riding her horse, Kismet, and catering to the needs of her other animals including Phinneaus, a miniature donkey and her five cats! She also enjoys travel and spending time in the beautiful outdoors of Wisconsin.

Dr. Melissa Sullivan, a Madison, WI native joined the staff of Athens Veterinary Service in 2002 after graduating from veterinary school. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Wisconsin (Go Badgers!!)
