Swine Services

Swine Services encompasses two different subsets of veterinary medicine - commercial producers and pet pigs.

Commercial producers can benefit from yearly walk throughs which allow us to discuss health issues and complete veterinary feed directives if necessary. We can assist with PEDV/PRRSV saliva testing submissions and write health papers. Our haul-in facility gives us a place to perform cryptorchid castrations and hernia repairs if necessary.

Pet pig (usually pot-bellied pig) owners can have us perform sedated tusk and hoof trims with the benefit of reversal an anti-inflammatory to make the pigs as comfortable as possible.
